Remediation, monitoring and management of the site has been ongoing to ensure the safety and compliance of the site. All work has been under the supervision of an independent Site Contamination Auditor, accredited by the SA-Environment Protection Authority.
All construction works involving soil movement will comply with EPA requirements and in line with the Site Management Plan.
A Construction Environmental Management Plan will be developed prior to commencement of construction to ensure good environmental practice and ongoing compliance with EPA requirements.
Construction works will be managed to prevent surface water run-off and associated sediment, from the site entering the marine environment.
