The Gosford Hospital redevelopment includes a new 11-storey building, complete with a helipad. The multi-million-dollar building will house a new psychiatric emergency care centre, a new and larger intensive care unit, more operating theatres, expanded maternity services, a new paediatric treatment unit, a new rehabilitation unit, expanded cancer treatment services, more outpatient services and many more added services and upgrades to the original hospital building.
The MyModular product is the first modular wiring solution to be approved by the NSW Health Infrastructure Board for use on their projects including Gosford Hospital. Their endorsement of the MyModular products including the MLEX and WireByClick ranges was largely due to the advantages they represent for the construction phase of the project but also for the future. Stowe, Lend Lease and NSW Health Infrastructure all agreed that this solution would minimise disruption to the live operations of the hospital during testing and while any future modifications are being completed.
“The products are all pre-tested so there are no faults which makes commissioning significantly quicker onsite during a period of the project where time is critical.”
